COMEDY IMPROVISATION
A fun and dynamic class for those who have an active imagination and who wish to explore the exciting realm of non-scripted dialogue. Theatre games and theatre-sports, as well as improvisational techniques will be used to learn how to develop characters quickly and discover the comic potential in any given situation. Students must be currently enrolled or successfully completed one semester of this course of study in order to be eligible to audition for the Teen Comedy Troupe.
MUSIC THEATRE / VOCAL PERFORMANCE
Are you a fan of Broadway musicals? Do you love to sing, dance and act? Do you have experience in one of these areas but wish to explore another? Develop your skills as a triple threat performer by learning basic choreography, how to perform a song, and how to shape characters using music and movement together.

PIANO LESSONS
From the absolute beginner to more experienced intermediate players, piano lessons encourage students to use good technique, attention to detail, style, and their individual musicality to interpret their pieces. RCM exam preparation is available for interested students, from the preparatory level to grade 6.

Improving Audition Skills
(Teens & Adults)
This course will provide participants the opportunity to improve audition skills. Monologues, Songs and basic audition etiquette will be covered to help performers to put their best foot forward and open up their prospects. The Brampton Theatre School is involved with the production of a variety of theatrical productions and this course will help potential auditioners improve their chances for these productions and all other audition opportunities.
ACTING CLASSES
Adult Scene Study (Ages 18+ )
Come and explore the world of theatre by learning how to create a character from a play, how to communicate effectively with an acting partner(s) and what is involved in the actor's process.
Senior Division (Ages 15 - 17)
Discover and learn the basic tools involved in the acting process such as concentration, physicality, sensory and spatial awareness, imagination and much more. Emphasis is placed on activities, which build confidence and trust, in order to express oneself both physically and emotionally with and without the use of text.
Intermediate Division (Ages 12 - 14)
Explore the imagination and gain the essential tools required for the "actor." Focus and concentration are emphasized, in conjunction with building trust and self-confidence in an environment that is both fun and educational.
Junior Division (Ages 9 - 11)
Develop the basic tools involved in acting such as concentration, physicality, movement, mime, sensory awareness and much more. Emphasis is place on developing focus and building confidence in order to become more creative and expressive.
Primary Division (Ages 7 - 8)
Explore the imagination through creative movement, music, mime, tableaux and much more, to discover how to gain confidence in expressing oneself in a variety of ways. At the same time, emphasis is placed on developing focus through a variety of games and activities that make the class both fun and educational.
VOCAL DIVISION
Learn how to sing through the discovery of basic technique. This course will look at how the body supports vocal expression through sound production, breath awareness and posture. Various songs will be chosen and worked on each week, in a safe and supportive learning environment that will encourage confidence in singing both individually and as a group. /p>

Private Vocal Lessons
The Brampton Theatre School offers private vocal lessons for people of all ages. Private lessons give students the chance to work one on one with their instructor. Students of voice will look at how the body supports vocal expression through sound production, breath awareness and posture.

Friday Night Break Dancing Class
The Brampton Theatre School is partnering with Unity Charity and From A Mother's Heart to provide a Friday night drop in programming for Break Dancing. FREE drop-in breakdancing classes supervised by Kevin Mike aka Bboy K Trickz.
